Misconceptions!

We often make things more difficult than they really are!

Step, or keep pressure on your stirrups, to keep them under your feet.

        In fact: 'Lift' your toe and tap on the stirrup, and it [the stirrup] simply falls back under your foot!

        The lesson:  We do not have to place so much pressure on the foot or stirrup!  We must learn to ride  with the entire leg and good upper body balance for support.  The horse  feels the tension of the 'taught' stirrup leather --across their backs, causing tension in the horse.

YOU MUST PULL on the horse's mouth, to stop them.

In fact: The horse desires being asked, gently, so they feel respected!

The lesson: The Natural Horse is very willing to show you Great Respect --if only you will learn to give it to them!

Typical traditional answers are usually 'mechanical'...

What we are trying to express, perhaps not so well, is how humans look down on 'natural' creatures, because

WE DO NOT UNDERSTAND THEM!

So, WHO is wrong?  The horse --or us?

WHY must the horse always 'conform' to human expectation, because we bought and paid for them with our hard earned money?

Isn't there a 'silent' message here?

DO we think we are ALL powerful  -rather than a small part  --of ALL creation?

We must --learn to UNITE or blend --as one!
