Year 2000

THE DECISION

DO WE ONLY KEEP 'HALF' A PROGRAM --with another 'public' Horse Business --just to exist?

OR, do we 'listen' to the hearts and wishes --of our own clients?

When asking the clients themselves, they said, --"It just would not be the same!" And, it isn't!

So, we found 'another way' to serve them.

We will teach many others to teach our programs, so they can help others, at their own small 'private' facilities.           This way, we will help many more, in many places!

We are creating programs in many communities in the USA.

Clients loved their privacy, and knowing that everyone there had a 'real reason', a real NEED to be there, we had two other decisions to make.

THE QUESTION put to us, in 2000.

"What is MORE IMPORTANT, the Program OR the HORSES?"

[ When you cannot make up your mind which of two evenly balanced courses of action you should take - choose the bolder.-- W.J. Slim]

THIS, was a very difficult question and decision --but it had to be made.

With ALL her heart, the founder believes that God, gave her the program, during the founders personal 'Search'..

The founder had got the horses, and they will always be her family.

The founder states:

WE WILL STAND ON WHAT GOD GAVE, IN PERFECT TRUST THAT HE GAVE US THE PROGRAM!

The next question, --DO WE 'SELL' THE HORSES -to get the needed FUNDS, and walk away with money in our pocket, to start somewhere else?  It was suggested that we sell them, over and over again.

Selling was an IMPOSSIBLE DECISION for the founder to make. She would NOT sell her family.  They MUST stay together, as long as they can! They will have a huge adjustment to go through.

The founder decided to TRUST GOD!

She would WALK AWAY with nothing --RATHER THAN SELL or separate the family.

Could it be, that one day it is possible to get then back? Could they live their lives in the safety of a TRUST set up for them?

They gave so much!

The founder MUST TRUST GOD, "AGAINST ALL ODDS", and follow The Holy Spirit prompting, "No matter where it takes me."

It wasn't an easy task, for there is still so much work to do.

During January, 2001, --we realized that the 'structure' of the Horse Holiday org. needed more work.

HORSE HOLIDAY inc 501-C3

1.) Soft Touch Quantum Horsemanship (STQH) is our--'Service' Program... (NOW a for profit business in 2004 for horse & riding programs, and to train the Consultants for Horse Holiday org. BY CONTRACT)

2.) We also need MANY NEW 'SMALLER' FACILITIES, as suggested, for every County, and in every State.

We WILL help more people!

3.) We must teach those who qualify the STQH CONSULTANT Programs, to broaden our 'Horse Holiday' VISION!

4) Future Distance Learning --ON-LINE WORKSHOPS are the answer, after the initial interview, one-on-one with the founder!

5.) ONE DAY, we will have an Ideal 'Teaching Facility' for Horse Holiday Conferences, Workshops and Seminars.

Help us to DEVELOP MORE Horse Holiday Consultants --for 'therapeutic work' with Agencies etc.

The founder realized in 1999 --there was tremendous need --to have others trained to work as the founder had been doing.

Time --did not allow this. Now, after even more preparation:

Again, we will be helping so many more individuals in need, with more programs in many places.

We desire to have a program in every Community, County, State, and beyond!

AGAIN!

I knew I had to turn away --but I would not allow them to be sold! I could not bear to hear un-educated people ask me 'what can they do?' My answer would have been and still is: "They can do whatever you are capable of asking, and they HAVE so much more than you will ever understand" That is what my mission is today --to help people to really know and understand --what the horse has for us to learn.

Sell your possessions, and give alms; provide yourselves with purses that do not grow old, with a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches and no moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.   Luke 12:33-34

I left everything but my kitchen things, clothes, very few horse things, and all of my office. I gave everything else away, including everything I had in the barn, which I would have to re-purchase one day --if I started up again. It is now 2009 and I am about to re-start Horse Holiday inclusively! RMF

As the human vultures stood by --waiting on the fence, they got what they could, and thought we would be stopped cold. They were so wrong! I was freed --against what I would have wanted for myself,--yet I did NOT KNOW HOW to do all I KNEW that I had to do. I could NOT do it all. God helped me through this tough decision, that I didn't make. However I knew that God was holding the reins, and I trusted Him fully. Back in 2000, I stated that I KNEW that God was preparing for us --'a Place where Eagles fly' and here we are between two mountain ridges of the 'Bald Eagle' State Park!

I stuck to my path, and continued to work on documenting, and making corrections, while journaling just to keep records. NO ONE would believe me in years to come. I knew that! That is why I wrote so much down, as it happened.

Truly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or lands, for my sake and for the gospel, who will not receive a hundredfold now in this time, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions, and in the age to come eternal life. But many that are first will be last, and the last first.   Mark 10:29-31

I suffered alone, and kept very busy, on the computer. I walked away from my 'family of horses, and had no one left for me --except my Lord Jesus --who was always with me.

The frustrations that followed only showed me that something was still missing, so I made even more corrections, in those days of waiting for God's hands to guide me once again! And He has!

I heard many things. words that had answers to current situations, that guided me through the next months, all the while I felt I was being asked "Are you happy with this, or would you prefer something else. I could hear this many times, so I went from a townhouse to 4 acres, and then to Central Pa, to where the water comes directly from the mountain. That was a dream --to have true clean clear water.
