Our History
Where Have We Been, Where We Are Going, Where We Are Now?
February, 2008 We are now starting the process to get Medical Assistance funding --so we can better serve our clients, when we start-up this spring!
November, 2007 We are now at a small, yet marvelous home-base and central 'teaching facility' --in Central Pa. in a mountainous valley of Snyder County, Pa. by Bald Eagle State Forest.
We are associated with the incredible Mountain Dale Farm Retreat, 175 acres of luscious beauty, with incredible opportunity for Horse Holiday Org. as our vision and plans can be fulfilled at this versatile facility. On our first meeting, we were told that on the previous night --they discussed "having someone with programs --to come in and work with them."
We then stated: "Well, here we are!" This was an incredible answer to many prayers.
We finally found our 'HOME-BASE' --for Horse Holiday Org.
This is truly our New Beginning, and we have been in preparation to RE-OPEN in 2008
2006 More preparation to finding that God-sent opportunity for Horse Holiday Org. as we made a four month detour in judgment, as to location. That was corrected through 'Divine Guidance' --to our current facility in Snyder County, between two ridges of the 'Bald Eagle State Forest', November 15.
2005 There is a great need for our program everywhere because of it's benefits in relieving so many types of suffering of the 'human condition'. As we continue to define our plans, we intend on expanding from community to community, nationally and internationally. We are currently working with training our first group of Horse Holiday Consultants and will continue to train more groups as funding and interest expands. Work with clients should once again begin in year 2006, with the mentoring of the founder, so that we can grow! Inquiries continue to come, both nationally and internationally. We contracted with 'Soft Touch Quantum Horsemanship' (STQH) for the training of all HH Consultants (HHC). STQH will filter inquiries of potential HHC applicants, for the common good of all. Actual training of those who qualify will start with becoming a (STQH) Riding Coach for riding safety and survival skills, natural horsemanship, improving communication skills, and then continuing to learn the therapeutic process. As of December 2005, our first year of training, we have 25 approved applicants to become Horse Holiday Consultants (HHC), in their own areas, covering over five (5) states on the east coast of the USA.
Past, 2001-2004 Structural work for the program continued, we relocated several again, to a larger office setting. Out first intention was to create a smaller, more private facility, (as requested by our clients) and to develop new Horse Holiday Coaches to be assigned to their areas. We documented 'original programs, and the founder developed a website to reach a wider audience. Soft Touch Quantum Horsemanship was created and used as the primary training course for Horse Holiday Consultants. Financial structure was set up to ensure fees and scholarships could be covered for those in need. An escrow account was established to eventually establish a larger teaching facility. The first out of state training was delivered in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
