Dear Rose, I promised to stay in
touch. Thinking of you and praying for you.
Hope this card finds you well, and with new
prospects opening up for you.
Thank you so much for the pictures of
'Chino' and myself.
I appreciate all the positive words,
concern and make a decision and stick to it that
you helped me with through your program with the
horses.
I learned through your program that I am
a person of worth and that I have a right to make
a decision and hold to it!
Please keep your hope, trust and faith in
God, because thats truly the only thing or should
I say one who will get us through this life.
God Bless you always
Very Sincerely K.D.

Dear
Ms. Foreman
I
wanted to take a moment to send you a note of
thanks for taking the time to work with me and the
autistic child that I have been working with
through the Youth Advocate Program in York.
Due
to the fact that this child is completely
nonverbal, his love for animals, and his
interaction with them is one of the few outlets
for stress and frustration that he has.
In
the short time that we spent with you and the
horses, I saw a noticeable difference in the way
this child deals with his environment. He
seemed more comfortable in confronting, his
anxieties in an appropriate manner ans less
dependent on me for reassurance.
However,
I think the moment that thrilled me the most was
when I saw him signing the word 'YES' In the
month that I have been working with this child, I
have been teaching him sign language so that he
may have an effective mode of communication.
He has on occasion signed 'no' and 'more', but it
wasn't until today that he signed 'YES'.
I
firmly believe that your program can have a
positive impact on all people, particularly those
dealing with various mental and emotional
challenges and look forward to visiting on a
regular basis as we grow and learn with the
children that I service.
Thanks
again!!!
Sincerely, Beth Jones
