what we teach --is not enough.
You must experience the process yourself --to fully grasp how we work
to improve the teaching technique to learn to ride a horse.
We have worked on
this since 1972, and by watching the reactions of our students --we knew
the next move. This strategy can be learned because the founder
[Rose Foreman] has worked and re-worked the process since starting in
the 'business' of teaching riding. By watching students respond to
information, and learn 'how to ride a horse with compassion,' you will
better understand why people behave as they do, and
to understand themselves better. Students gain greater outlook
into other people as well.
Where did this program come from?
Since the beginning,
our program has helped get to the root of someone's damaged feelings, which,
when unresolved created stress.
Unfortunately, we learned that many
wanted to learn to ride a horse --not due to the real desire to ride,
but riding was just an escape for them --a way to 'get-away' from a
problem they could not resolve. However, what happened before they
arrived, created a stress that stymied their growth and prevented
success and real happiness --to
live the better life. Many came to ride horses as an attempt to avoid
going to a doctor. Instead, students would try anything --other
than going to any type of doctor or Health Practitioner, Mental,
Physical or Emotional.
What made our program so different?
It was not until a few years later that
we became aware --that stress actually created the illness in
mind-body-brain,or spirit, that caused our students to
reach-out-for-help in the first place, without even knowing it. We
learned, that stress creates so many treatable symptoms that need either
Physical, Psychological or Psychiatric help, that would of course lead
to medication, or 'drugs'. People know this, and they are afraid to get
under the influence of those
'If we can't medicate, what can we do?'
Health Professionals who just sit across the table or desk, and determine what drug to prescribe
--without 100% knowing how
that drug will affect you, after you leave their office --do not really
know how those drugs will affect you --especially if you are also taking something
else, --you may not have told them OR if the patients hare having 'other
issues' to resolve as well. They do not
know --for-sure --how those drugs will affect
Our Program has taken a lifetime to really
understand, and to find how to make us the best possible, and definitly
How is this even possible?
We place each individual in a situation that
they must reconsider, due to new information, and our game of 'you
figure it out' at each tiny bit of info. Our students are made to
think, then try, and then --to understand what they are learning, not to
just cram information to remember. We make them remember --what,
why, where & how.
Are all students the same?
NO! Each person has their own level
of comprehension, and we must watch carefully --for reaching their level
of understanding, and to not cross that path --with every student.
Decisions must be made to help students feel their
accomplishments are really wonderful. We do not want to wound a
student --in any way. This is why teaching individuals is so powerful,
because we excell with our students as well, because there is so
much to learn from them.
Why do you prefer working individually
to teach your program?
We prefer teaching our volunteer
individuals or very small groups. Expanding teaching to larger
groups will not insure that our programs are properly learned, and we
would prefer knowing where our volunteer are best suited, to helping others.

Why not just sell us the curriculum?
In the past we learned that previous applicants
did not want to read or study what we offered. Instead, we learned
that students also wanted more. They too --actually craved the
private attention, not just being cast into studying a book.
So, after many years of searching for
improvements, our plan now has changed --for the best program curriculum
